The Company has been notified that today Pontoil Intertrade Limited have
acquired a further 150,000 (0.21%) SOCO International plc ordinary shares of
£0.20 each ('Shares').

Following this transaction, Pontoil Intertrade Ltd holds 10,145,543 Shares,
representing 14.10% of the issued share capital of the Company.
