The Company announces that on 16 September 2004, Mr Martin Roberts acquired 
an interest in 5,000 SOCO International plc ordinary shares of £0.20 each 
('Shares'). The Shares acquired, being 0.01% of the issued share capital 
of the Company, were purchased on the open market at £2.96 per Share and 
represent the sum total of Shares owned by Mr Roberts.
