The Company gives notice that it was informed, on 15 November 2001, that on 15 
November 2001 John Snyder, Non-Executive Director, acquired an interest in 
475,000 SOCO International plc ordinary shares of 20p each at a price of £1.375,
representing 0.68% of the issued share capital of the company.


Following this announcement John Snyder's interest will be 500,000 Ordinary 
shares, representing 0.71% of the issued share capital of the company.
