Notification of Transactions of Directors/Persons Discharging

Managerial Responsibility and Connected Persons

The Company announces that that on 28 May 2010, Mr Rui de Sousa, the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board, acquired an interest in a further 65,000 SOCO International plc ordinary shares of £0.20 each ("Shares") following an exercise of warrants to acquire Shares ("Warrants") at a subscription price of £0.60 per Share by Palamos Limited, a connected person to Mr de Sousa.

As a result of this transaction, which represents 0.08% of the issued share capital of the Company, Mr de Sousa is interested in 850,076 Shares, representing 1.03% of the issued share capital of the Company and 1,444,201 Warrants.  This interest is held as follows:  Mr de Sousa holds 63,652 Shares personally; Palamos Limited holds 786,424 Shares, 55,336 Warrants at an exercise price of £0.55 per Share, 860,187 Warrants at an exercise price of £0.60 per Share and 528,678 Warrants at an exercise price of £0.65 per Share.
