              Awards under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan

SOCO announces that awards under the SOCO International plc Long Term Incentive
Plan ('Awards') were made on 12 December 2007 to Mr Ed Story, Mr Roger Cagle and
Mrs Cynthia Cagle of 37,700, 28,300 and 19,200 ordinary shares of £0.20 each
(Shares), respectively. On the date of the Awards, the market price of the
Shares was £21.11.
