                           PDMR/DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

The Company was today notified that on 7 November 2007, Mr Ed Story, President
and CEO of the Company, made a gift to charity comprising 32,645 SOCO
International plc ordinary shares of £0.20 each ('Shares'), representing 0.04%
of the issued share capital of the Company, for nil consideration.

Following this donation, Mr Story is interested in 1,537,248 Shares,
representing 2.11% of the issued share capital of the Company, and 2,753,974
options to acquire Shares.
