                           PDMR/DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

The Company was notified on 19 October 2007 that on the same day Mr Rui de Sousa,
Chairman of the Company, purchased 500 SOCO International plc ordinary shares
of £0.20 each ('Shares'). Following this transaction, Mr de Sousa has an
interest in 770,076 Shares, representing 1.06% of the issued share capital of
the Company and 1,509,201 warrants to subscribe for ordinary shares in the
Company ('Warrants'). This interest is held as follows:

    48,652 Shares (0.07%) are held by Mr de Sousa;

    721,424 Shares (0.99%) and 55,336 Warrants at an exercise price of £0.55,
    925,187 Warrants at an exercise price of £0.60 and 528,678 Warrants at an
    exercise price of £0.65 are held by Palamos Limited, which is owned by a trust
    company whose potential beneficiary is the family of Mr de Sousa.
