                           ('SOCO' or 'the Company')

                               ADDITIONAL LISTING

Pursuant to an exercise of warrants to subscribe for 40,652 SOCO International
plc ordinary shares of £0.20 each ('Shares'), the Company has made application
for 40,652 Shares, which will rank pari passu with the existing Shares, to be
admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the
London Stock Exchange.

Pursuant to the above application, SOCO's capital consists of 72,819,067
ordinary shares of £0.20 each with voting rights. SOCO holds 27,500 ordinary
shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in SOCO is
72,791,567.

The above figure (72,791,567) may be used by shareholders as a denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, SOCO International plc
under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
