The Company announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority
to Block List up to 300,000 ordinary shares of £0.20 each, which may be issued
under the terms of the SOCO 1997 Company Share Option Plan, and to the London
Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading.
