Petrel Resources announces that it has issued and allotted 100,000 new ordinary
shares to a consultant to the Company pursuant to the exercise of share options.
Application has been made for the shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it
is expected that admission will take place and dealings will commence on 19 May
2004.
