Screen Plc ('Screen')

Further to the announcement of 9 January 2002 which stated that Manulife
International Investment Management Limited ('Manulife') is a significant
shareholder, holding more than 3% of the issued share capital of Screen Plc,
it has subsequently been clarified by Manulife that they hold 2,182,703
shares, being 4.56% of Screen's issued share capital.
