Screen Plc ('the Company') - Extraordinary General Meeting Result

At an Extraordinary General Meeting convened today the shareholders of Screen
Plc voted to approved the proposed increase in the Company's share capital and
the directors' authority to allot shares as notified in the letter sent to
shareholders dated 1 November 1999.
