Board Change and Senior Management Appointment
Screen Plc ('Screen'), which focuses on the development and supply of security
and surveillance solutions and defence equipment announces that Geoff Carswell
has resigned for personal reasons from its Board and as Managing Director of its
subsidiary Joyce-Loebl Limited, the Gateshead-based supplier of security and
passenger information systems for the rail industry and defence equipment,
effective 14 September 2004.
He is succeeded as Managing Director of Joyce-Loebl by Mr Bill Conn, who was
previously Managing Director of the Electrical Drives Worldwide Division of the
transport group, ALSTOM. Mr. Conn joins Joyce-Loebl from Monday, 20 September
2004. Mr. Conn (46), has worked in the aerospace and transportation industries
since 1975.
Commenting, Tim Wightman, Chief Executive, Screen said: 'I would like to thank
Geoff for his contribution to the Group's development and wish him well in the
future. I am delighted that someone of Bill's experience in domestic and
international markets is joining our team.'
