Screen PLC ('the Company') - Completion of acquisition of Tranzline Limited
('Tranzline') and issue of shares.

The Company announces that following the conditional agreement to purchase the
entire issued share capital of Tranzline on 18 April 2000 it has today
completed this transaction.

Accordingly, the Company has issued 4,155,844 ordinary shares as part of the
initial consideration payable to the vendors of Tranzline.  Application is
being made for these shares to be admitted to trading on the Alternative
Investment Market.
