PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES

On 28 November 2005 Personal Assets Trust plc bought 345 of its own Ordinary
Shares of £12.50 to be held in treasury at a price of £240.75 each.  There are
733,095 shares in issue and 13,892 shares held in treasury following this
transaction.
