Personal Assets Trust plc - Voting Rights and Capital



In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 the
Company would like to notify the market of the following:



Personal Assets Trust plc's issued ordinary share capital consists of 750,911
shares of £12.50 each, of which 15,287 are held in Treasury.



Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Personal Assets Trust plc is
735,624 ordinary shares of £12.50 each.



The above figure (735,624) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Personal Assets Trust plc
under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
