Persimmon Plc ('the Company')- Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we
announce that as at 18 December 2006 the Company's issued share capital
consisted of 299,214,105 ordinary shares with voting rights. The Company does
not hold any shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in
the Company is 299,214,105.
