Directors' Shareholdings

On 15 May 2006, Persimmon plc (the 'Company') was informed that on 12 May 2006
Persimmon (Share Scheme Trustees) Limited had purchased 50,000 ordinary shares
in the Company at an average price of 1303p and that on 15 May 2006 it had
purchased a further 50,000 ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of
1248p. The shares were purchased in respect of conditional awards for Executive
Directors under existing bonus arrangements.
