Directors' Share Transactions

Persimmon plc (the 'Company') announces that on 5 April 2006 David Bryant,
Director and his wife Daryl Bryant each sold 520 ordinary shares in the Company,
at an average price of 1340.23p. On 6 April 2006 Mr and Mrs Bryant subsequently
purchased 520 ordinary shares each at an average price of 1339.31p through an
ISA. As a result of these transactions Mr Bryant and his wife remain interested
in 440,803 shares or 0.15% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Also the Company has been informed that on 5 April 2006 Davina Millar, wife of
John Millar, Director sold 1,650 ordinary shares in the Company, at an average
price of 1340.1p. As a result Mr Millar and his wife are interested in 700,444
shares or 0.24% of the issued share capital of the Company.
