Pennon has today received notification (by fax dated 23 March 2005) that at the
close of business on 21 March 2005 the interests of Morgan Stanley Securities
Limited, and the group companies which are direct or indirect holding companies
of Morgan Stanley Securities Limited, in the Ordinary shares of £1.11p each in
Pennon Group Plc have fallen below 3% of the issued share capital of the
Company.
