Pennon Group Plc has today received notification (by letter dated 19 February
2001) pursuant to Section 198 (as amended), of the Companies Act 1985 that
Legal & General Investment Management Limited now holds 4,114,839 Ordinary
shares of £1 each in Pennon Group Plc, representing 3.01% of the issued share
capital of the Company.
*A Private Investor is a recipient of the information who meets all of the conditions set out below, the recipient:
