Change to Board of Directors

Pennon Group Plc announces that Mr Stanislas Yassukovich has retired from the
Board with effect from 31 March 2000.  Mr Yassukovich was appointed as a
Non-executive Director in 1992 and has made a significant contribution towards
the development of the Pennon Group.  The Board expects to appoint a successor
in the near future.
