                     DIRECTORS' SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR SHARES                      

On 13 October 2000, William Catchpole, Managing Director of COUNTYWeb.com, and
Geoffrey Forsyth, Technical Director of COUNTYWeb.com, exercised options to
subscribe for 85,000 (representing 0.32% of the issued Ordinary Shares) and
5,000 (representing 0.02% of the issued Ordinary Shares) Ordinary Shares of 1p
each in the Company respectively at £1.00 each.    

As a result Mr Catchpole's interest in the company is 903, 374 Ordinary Shares
(representing 3.36% of the issued Ordinary Shares) and Mr Forsyth's  interest
in the Company is 40,000 Ordinary Shares (representing 0.15% of the issued
Ordinary Shares).
