ordinary shares of Standard Life European Private Equity Trust PLC, 1.3% of the
issued ordinary shares, on 30 September 2003. This resulted in a decrease in its
interest in the company from 52.5% to 51.2% and which now amounts to a total of
81,565,718 shares.
