Parity enters cyber-warfare training partnership with CyberGym

Partnership wins place on Northern Ireland Co-Operation Overseas (NI.CO)

Parity (AIM: PTY) announces a strategic partnership agreement with CyberGym ("Partnership") offering a global network of cyber-warfare preparedness training for governments and private enterprises.

The partnership has won a place on the NI.CO Cyber Security Training Services Framework to provide consultancy and recruitment support in Northern Ireland. While no immediate value on future contracts can be confirmed, the total NI.CO framework agreement has a drawdown value of £2bn over the course of 10 years. The Cyber Security Training Services Framework is an unspecified subtotal of the overall framework.

Matthew Bayfield, CEO of Parity, said:

"Our partnership with CyberGym puts Parity at the forefront of defence training for our public and private enterprise clients in cyber warfare security. The global pandemic has heightened the risk of cyber-attack at all levels and especially as home working exposes data that requires additional security measures that must be introduced across a wide range of institutions where regulators are demanding new compliance measures.

Parity is now in a position to immediately offer our clients a comprehensive set of data management skills to help them keep ahead of all their data challenges."

Mr Tim Vincent, CEO of CyberGym UK, said:

"This partnership offers protection to high level targets in the public services, utility organisations and governments by delivering training and testing, already adopted and trusted by governments around the world.CyberGym's cloud based Virtual Cloud Arena complements their global network of physical training centres and mean that in the continuing lock down we are able to offer the unique emulation training to employees wherever they may be.  The consultancy and resources provided by Parity in the growing and increasingly important cyber security sector are entirely complementary and enhance the service currently provided to their clients."
