The Company received notification on 16 May 2006 from Merrill Lynch Investment
Managers, on behalf of certain client(s) under discretionary management, of the
following interests in the Company's ordinary 2p shares ('Shares'):


   •Following a purchase of 100,000 Shares, as at 15 May 2006 ML UK Emerging
    Companies Hedge Fund held 1,179,030 Shares, representing approximately 3.11%
    of the Company issued ordinary share capital.


   •Following a purchase of 100,000 Shares, as at 15 May 2006 RBS as Tstee of
    Merrill Lynch UK Smaller Companies Fund held 1,179,030 Shares, representing
    approximately 3.11% of the Company issued ordinary share capital.
