Transparency Directive - Initial Notification of Interest

The Company has received notification that, as at 20 January 2007, Aberforth
Partners LLP had a notifiable interest, pursuant to the Transparency Directive,
in 7,709,118 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company ('Shares') each carrying
one voting right, representing approximately 20.33% of the voting rights in the
Company, registered as set out below:

The total interest of Aberforth Partners LLP in the Company's Shares remains

2006. Aberforth Partners LLP does not have voting rights over all of the Shares
comprising its interest in the Company.
