HOLDING IN COMPANY

The Company received notification on 4 January 2006 from BlackRock Investment
Management (UK) Limited, on behalf of certain discretionary clients, of the
following interests in the Company's ordinary 2p shares ('Shares'):

   •Following a purchase of 200,000 Shares, as at 2 January 2007 Royal Bank
    of Scotland as Trustee of Merrill Lynch UK Smaller Companies Fund held
    1,688,303 Shares, representing approximately 4.46% of the Company issued
    ordinary share capital.
