             Appointment of Lord Freeman as Non-Executive Chairman


Parity Group PLC, the UK IT services group, is pleased to announce the
appointment of Lord Roger Freeman as Non-Executive Chairman, with effect from 1
July 2007.


Lord Freeman, 65, has a wealth of experience both at Board level and within the
government and parliament. He was MP for Kettering between 1983-1997, and became
a life peer in 1997. He has held Parliamentary Secretary roles as well as being
Minister of State for both Public Transport and Defence Procurement. He served
in the Cabinet as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and as Public Service
Minister.


A qualified Chartered Accountant, Lord Freeman was a Partner and Managing
Director at Lehman Brothers in New York, specialising in M&A, from 1969-1986. He
holds a number of Chairmanships, including currently acting as Chairman of
Thales Holdings UK plc and of the Cambridge University Technology Transfer
Office.


As a result of the appointment, John Hughes will step down from his current role
as Executive Chairman to become Deputy Chairman, replacing Philip Swinstead who
will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director.


John Hughes, Executive Chairman, said:

sales and marketing activities, under Lord Freeman's leadership. We have
recently also appointed Ian Ketchin to the Board as Finance Director. With these
appointments I am confident that we have a strong leadership team in place as
Parity continues to move successfully from recovery to growth.'


Lord Freeman is currently Chairman of Thales Holdings UK plc, IDDAS Ltd,
Metalysis Ltd, Radiation Watch Ltd, Cambridge Enterprise Ltd, Imprimatur Capital
Ltd and a Director of Global Energy Development plc, Thales S.A, France,
Chemring Group plc and CrossCore Optimization Ltd. He is also a Consultant
(formerly Partner) at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and is Chairman of their UK
Advisory Panel.


There are no other disclosures relating to Lord Freeman's appointment to be made
under Listing Rule 9.6.13 (1) to (6).
