DIRECTOR/PDMR DEALINGS

The Company announces the grant, on 5 November 2007 to Mr. David Plummer, a
senior executive having PDMR status (but not a director) of 250,000 options to
subscribe for ordinary shares of 2p each in the Company ('Shares'), pursuant to
the Company's 1999 Share Option Plan. The options may be exercised, at 67.5p per
Share, commencing on the third anniversary of grant and expiring the day
preceding the tenth anniversary of grant, and are subject to the achievement of
certain performance criteria relating to the Company's total shareholder return
measured against a peer group of comparable companies.

Mr. Plummer's total option holding over the Company's Shares, including this
grant, stands at 503,717.
