                              Total Voting Rights

The Parkmead Group plc today announces that in conformity with the
Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, Parkmead's capital consists
of 368,341,780 ordinary shares of 5p each ('Ordinary Shares') with voting rights.
No Ordinary Shares are held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting
rights in Parkmead is 368,341,780.





The above figure (368,341,780 Ordinary Shares) may be used by shareholders as
the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Parkmead
under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
