The Paragon Group of Companies PLC ('Paragon') today announces that it received
yesterday a notification from Threadneedle Asset Management Limited to advise,
in accordance with the provisions of Section 198 Companies Act 1985, of a change
to the notifiable interest over shares in Paragon. The change arises from a
corporate re-organisation within Zurich Financial Services Group such that at 8
April 2002 Zurich Scudder Investments Inc ceased to be a member of Zurich
Financial Services Group and that Threadneedle Asset Management are no longer
required to disclose any interests in shares on its behalf.
