Viking Internet PLC 25 May 2001 PRESS RELEASE VIKING INTERNET PLC ('the Company') Sunvest Corporation Limited has today acquired 14,560,000 1p ordinary shares in Viking Internet Plc from Norstar Pension Planning Corporation, a trust in which Erik Wachtmeister is a potential beneficiary. Sunvest Corporation Limited, a listed Australian company controlled by Mr Bruce Rowan is now the beneficial owner of 15,560,000 ordinary shares, representing 11.97% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. Mr Malcolm Burne has joined the board as executive chairman of the company on behalf of Sunvest with immediate effect to redirect the company's activities. William Dartmouth and Hans von Schreeb have tendered their resignations as directors.
