The Directors of Oxford Technology 2 VCT regret to announce that Assertion Ltd,
an investee company of the fund, has ceased to trade and has gone into
liquidation. £75,000 was invested in the company in August 2001. It is not
expected that Oxford Technology 2 VCT will receive any proceeds from the
liquidation and the investment has been written down to zero.

The failure of Assertion Ltd will have the effect of lowering the Net Asset
Value per share of Oxford Technology 2 VCT by 1.2p.
