Oxford Technology 2 VCT PLC 12 July 2006 Regulatory Announcement For Immediate Release 12th July 2006 Richard Vessey joins the board of Oxford Technology 2 Venture Capital Trust Plc Oxford Technology 2 VCT announces that Richard Vessey is today joining the Board. Richard Vessey (58) is a significant shareholder in the fund. In addition Richard has co-invested with OT2VCT in several investee companies, and has become actively involved with some of these. In 1984, he founded Bell Plastics Ltd, a specialist plastics manufacturing business, and Seedcorn Capital Ltd, a fund managed by Seed Capital Ltd, the manager of Oxford Technology 2 VCT, was the only external investor in this business. The business prospered, and was eventually sold in 2004. Richard Vessey is now CEO of Im-Pak Technologies Ltd, an investee of OT2VCT, a company that is pioneering several advances in plastic injection moulding technology. Therefore in addition to his general business experience he has particular knowledge of this company that will be useful to the Board. His education is as a chemical engineer from Imperial College and MBA from Harvard, and his early career was in manufacturing companies, becoming Sales and Marketing Director of Plastic Engineers Ltd. In 1984 he left the conventional career path to found Bell Plastics Ltd and subsequently co-founded two other companies dealing in mouldable and flexible magnetic materials. He is also Chairman of Oxford Sensor Technologies and an active member of the UK Shareholders Association.
