Contract Win

- Telford and Wrekin Council select Yotta for software, surveying and professional services contract -

- Combined win for Yotta's expanded software offering of both Horizons and Mayrise Street Works -

OMG plc, (AIM:OMG), the technology group providing image understanding products for the entertainment, defence, life science and engineering industries, is pleased to announce a contract win with Telford and Wrekin Council ("the Council") which includes surveys, professional services and software from Yotta's expanded offering, following the Group's acquisition of Mayrise Ltd in July 2013.

Yotta, OMG's infrastructure asset management technology arm, has been selected by the Council to supply Horizons, visualised asset management software, Mayrise Street Works software, professional services and undertake a number of surveys across the Council's road network.

The combined win will contribute approximately £200,000 to Group revenue over the life of the contract, with the software and professional services contracts running over a three year period and the survey work to be completed over one year.

Horizons has already begun to help the Council re-engineer its approach to highway asset management providing extensive access to essential highway data, which decision makers can use to better plan forward maintenance. Once calibrated to the Council's network, Horizons will help to develop treatment strategies, life cycle planning and understand the total cost of the road network over its lifetime. The Council also plans to use Horizons to develop a forward works programme to improve the delivery of highway maintenance.

Alongside Horizons, Yotta's Mayrise Street Works software will enable the Council to monitor its street works register, coordinate works on the highways and issue Fixed Penalty Notices to street works which overrun.

Yotta will also undertake SCANNER, Asset Inventory Collection, Skid Resistance, CVI and FNS surveys across the Council's road network, providing robust data to make informed maintenance decisions.

Lee Barnard, Network Management Interim Group Manager at Telford and Wrekin Council said:

"Following demonstrations from a number of suppliers we chose Mayrise Street Works as it was the most user friendly solution and came with good references from other users. The added bonus was that our Capital Programme Team has recently implemented Yotta's Horizons so in choosing the Mayrise system, this allows us to align our Street Works data and services with the asset management solution."

Commenting on today's announcement Nick Bolton, Chief Executive of OMG plc, said:

"I am very pleased to be announcing this combined win for Yotta and Mayrise solutions. At the time of the acquisition, we highlighted the clear strategic fit Mayrise has within Yotta and this contract highlights just how well the two fit together. Our offering is stronger and broader with Mayrise and the combination can expand our relationships with our clients. We look forward to working with the team at Telford and Wrekin Council."
