Annual General Meeting Statement

OMG plc, Oxford Metrics Group (LSE: OMG), ("OMG" or "the Group"), the technology group providing image understanding products for the entertainment, defence, life science and engineering industries will hold its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") at 4pm today.

At the AGM Anthony Simonds-Gooding, Chairman of OMG, will make the following statement:

"The Board is pleased to announce that OMG has had a good start to the current financial year. Group revenue continues to develop in line with management expectations.

On a divisional basis, Vicon has had a solid start to the year; Yotta's Horizons software continues to gain traction adding three new customers to its Software as a Service (SaaS) offering in the period; in 2d3 we have increased investment in the business to lay a strong foundation for future growth and enhance opportunities for a positive outturn over the full financial year; as for our consumer arm, OMG Life, our focus on bringing a premium product to market remains a priority and we continue to be excited about the prospects for Autographer, the world's first intelligent, wearable camera.

As is typical of the Group, we continue to be second half weighted in terms of revenue. However, our pipeline is encouraging and despite increased investments within 2d3 and OMG Life to provide a platform for growth, the Board remains confident in achieving market expectations for the full year."

The Company will provide further information on trading when it announces its interim results for the six months ended 31 March 2013.
