Oxford, UK - 3 July 2023: Oxford Biomedica plc ("Oxford Biomedica" or " the Company") (LSE:OXB), a quality and innovation-led viral vector CDMO, today announces that Non-Executive Directors Dr. Michael Hayden, Dr Heather Preston and Catherine Moukheibir have purchased ordinary shares in the Company pursuant to a trading plan put in place on 7 October 2022.   

 

By way of background, and as stated in the Oxford Biomedica 2021 Remuneration Policy which was approved at the 2021 Annual General Meeting, an additional fee of up to £50,000 per annum may be paid to any Non-Executive Director recruited from or based outside of the UK to reflect market levels of remuneration for Non-Executive Directors not based in the UK, subject to their agreement that the after tax amount of this additional fee will be used to acquire Oxford Biomedica shares at market value, which must be retained for at least 12 months from acquisition. The ordinary shares were all purchased at 430p and the number of ordinary shares purchased along with further information is set out in the table below:
