                        Further re Director Appointment



As announced on 31 July 2006, Mr Rowan Maule has been appointed to the board of
Ovoca Gold plc.

At the date of his appointment, Mr Maule has been, and continues to be, a
director of the following companies in the past five years: MDM Mining
International Limited and MDMA Mining Limited.

There are no details that are required to be disclosed under Schedule 2,
paragraph (g) of the AIM and IEX Rules.
