Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange for 500,000 New Ordinary
Shares of nominal value €0.025 each in the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") to be
admitted for trading to the Exploration Securities Market of the Irish Stock
Exchange.



The New Ordinary Shares have been allotted pursuant  to a joint venture
agreement entered into by the Company with Nueva Tharsis S.A.L. as previously
announced on 1 July 2004 and will rank pari passu in all respects with the
existing ordinary shares of the Company.



Admissions is expected to become effective and dealing expected to commence in
these shares on 3 August 2004.
