                        Death of Director - Paul Mihalop

Ormonde Mining plc ("Ormonde" or the "Company") announces, with regret, that Dr.
Paul Mihalop, a non-executive Director of the Company died on 25th November
2007.

Mr. Mike Donoghue, Chairman, said "Paul served as a Director of Ormonde with
great enthusiasm and distinction since his appointment in 2005.  We will miss
his wise counsel and our thoughts are with his family at this time".
