ORIENTAL RESTAURANT GROUP PLC ('the Company)

DIRECTORS DEALING

The Company was today informed that Mr F Cremer, a
non-executive Director, sold 60,000 ordinary shares
of 5p each ('Shares') at 177.5p per Share from his
holding in his own name and 8,500 Shares at 176p per
Share from his PEP holding, both disposals being made
on 20 August 1999. Following these disposals, Mr
Cremer has an interest in 700,000 Shares,
representing 7.30% of the Company's issued ordinary
share capital.
