DIRECTORS DEALINGS

The Company has been informed that, on 12 April 2000,
Mr Michael Paterson, a Director of the Company, sold 13,000 ordinary shares
of 5p each ('Shares') at 80p per Share. On the same day both Mr Paterson and
his wife each bought 6,500 Shares at 80.125p per Share which were put into an
ISA.

As a result of these transactions Mr Paterson (and
his wife) are interested in a total of 948,790 Shares, representing 9.87% of the
Company's issued ordinary share capital.
