2011 Annual Report and Notice of AGM

Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or 'the Company') advises that the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 July 2011 together with the Notice of AGM have been posted to shareholders and can be downloaded from the Company's website at http://www.originenterprises.com.  Copies of the Annual Report and Accounts are also available from the Company's registered office at 151 Thomas Street, Dublin 8, Ireland.

The Notice of AGM outlines details of proposed Board changes.  Mr. Alan Gray will not be seeking re-election as a Director on the expiration of his term of office at the Annual General Meeting. 

Mr. Hugh McCutcheon is being proposed for election to the Board of Directors.  Mr. McCutcheon is a Chartered Accountant and Investment Banking Professional.  He has been head of Corporate Finance at Davy since 2001 which he joined in 1989 from PriceWaterhouse, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979.  Mr. McCutcheon has an honours degree in Economics from Trinity College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. 

Commenting on the proposed changes to the Board, Mr. Owen Killian Chairman of Origin said "I would like to thank Alan for his invaluable contribution to the Board of Origin during a period of significant repositioning of the Group to a sustainable agri-services model.  The Board look forward to working with Hugh McCutcheon upon his appointment."
