                     Analyst Presentations on US Operations

Old Mutual plc will be making a series of presentations on its US businesses to
a group of analysts from today until 26 October. These will take place in
Atlanta, Boston and New York and will be hosted by Julian Roberts, Group Finance
Director.

The presentations will provide an operational update on each of the businesses
in the US, including Old Mutual Financial Network, Old Mutual Bermuda, Old
Mutual Asset Management (US) and Old Mutual Capital.
