Old Mutual plc (the Company) announces that it has today received a notice dated
24 October 2006 informing the Company that Lehman Brothers International
(Europe) ceased at the close of business on 23 October 2006 to have a notifiable
interest, for the purposes of Part VI of the UK Companies Act 1985, in the
Company's ordinary share capital.
