Old Mutual plc will release its interim results for the six months to 30 June
2005 at 7.00 a.m. UK time, 8.00 a.m. South African time, on Wednesday 10 August
2005. Following this there will be a presentation on the results at 9.30 a.m. UK
time, 10.30 a.m. SA time.

Jim Sutcliffe, Chief Executive, will host the presentation in London and Julian
Roberts, Group Finance Director, will host the presentation in Johannesburg.
There will be a satellite link between the venues in the UK and South Africa.
