Mr R Bogni, a non-executive director of the Company, has purchased 19,000
ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ('shares') at a price of £1.0375
each. This purchase took place on the London Stock Exchange on 7 March 2002. The
total number of shares in which Mr Bogni is now interested is 19,000.
