                 Sharesave scheme - Director's share interests


Mr J V F Roberts, Group Finance Director of the Company, today exercised an
option under the Old Mutual UK Sharesave Plan over 11,445 shares at £0.83 each.

Mr Roberts now holds 402,175 shares in the Company. This figure excludes any
contingent interest in unvested Restricted Share Awards.

As announced yesterday, as part of the annual grant under the Old Mutual UK
Sharesave Plan, Mr Roberts received an option on 27 May 2005 over a total of
9,199 shares at the exercise price of £1.03 per share, exercisable between 1
July 2008 and 31 December 2008.
