Old Mutual plc has been informed, by a letter received today, that Mr M J
Levett, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Company, has made the following
purchase on the JSE Securities Exchange (South Africa) of a direct, beneficial
interest in shares of the following quoted subsidiary of the Company:

Following the above purchase, the total number of shares in Nedcor Investment
